Nevada registered the supreme unemployment fee in the U.S. final month at 28.2%, the Labor Department stated Friday in a memoir detailing the influence of the unique coronavirus and linked lockdowns on the job market in all 50 states.
The jobless fee rose in all 50 states and the District of Columbia final month, and 43 states recorded the supreme level on memoir since 1976. The trip in three states exceeded 20% in April, effectively above the nationwide fee of 14.7%, which was the supreme on memoir since 1948.
