Taylor Swift has a fifth consecutive U.Adequate. chart-chief as Folklore (EMI) blasts to No. 1.

Swift’s eighth album leads the Reliable U.Adequate. Albums Chart on debut, notching up 37,000 chart sales, with two-thirds of these from streams and the the relaxation from downloads, the OCC reviews.

With that swiftly open, Folklore is 2020’s most-downloaded album in its first week, eclipsing the gap tally of Eminem’s Music to be Murdered By.

The stout rollout of Folklore on CD and vinyl is yet to strategy.

In step with the OCC, Swift becomes simply the fifth female artist to rep five or more U.Adequate. No. 1 albums, becoming a member of Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.
