ARIZONA — Up, up, and away! Magician David Blaine took to the sky in his most modern death-defying feat Ascension.
Blaine became carrying a harness and held 52 helium-filled balloons. He reached above his projected altitude of 18,000 feet.

He did no longer even attach his parachute on until he became roughly halfway up!
The tournament streamed exclusively on YouTube, which funded the challenge.

Once Blaine reached 24,900 feet up, he pulled a cord and started his skydive assist to the bottom.
He successfully pulled his parachute and then hit the bottom running and with a cheer. He became welcomed assist by his younger daughter with a “You did it!”
Ascension had been scheduled to gain role in Unusual York City, but became rescheduled for Arizona because of the the complexity of the challenge.
Blaine had been noticed practicing for this most most modern stunt closing month in Fresno.
