Returning to science operations on June 14, the Hubble House telescope broken-down its unique pointing mode to dangle this keen image of spiral galaxy NGC 1546. A member of the Dorado galaxy neighborhood, the island universe lies a mere 50 million gentle-years away. The galactic disk of NGC 1546 is tilted to our line-of-witness, with the yellowish gentle of the aged stars and bluish areas of newly formed stars shining by means of the galaxy’s mud lanes.
