Why is there a spiral around the North Pole of Mars? Each and each frosty climate this pole develops a brand contemporary outer layer about one meter thick quiet of carbon dioxide frozen out of the thin Martian ambiance. This contemporary layer is deposited on a water-ice layer that exists 365 days round. Stable winds blow down from above the cap’s heart and swirl due to the the trot of the crimson planet — contributing to Planum Boreum’s spiral structure.
