NASA reported Saturday that an asteroid is headed in direction of Earth one day sooner than the U.S. election day this year, even when the possibilities of an affect are lower than one percent.

Scientists labeled the asteroid 2018VP1, and data reveals it is miles 0.002 km or about 6.5 feet, CNN reported.

The celestial object became as soon as first realized at the Palomar Observatory in California in 2018.

NASA data printed there are three capability impacts, even when in step with 21 observations over the course of 12.968 days, decided the risk of affect is 0.41 percent.
