
On July 20, 1969 the Apollo 11 lunar module Eagle safely touched down on the Moon. It landed stop to the southwestern nook of the Moon’s Mare Tranquillitatis at a touchdown space dubbed Tranquility Depraved. This panoramic look of Tranquility Depraved used to be constructed from the ancient photos taken from the lunar flooring. On the a long way left astronaut Neil Armstrong casts a long shadow with Sun is at his aid and the Eagle resting about 60 meters away ( AS11-40-5961). He stands stop to the rim of 30 meter-diameter Shrimp West crater viewed here to the well-behaved ( AS11-40-5954). Additionally viewed within the foreground is the head of the camera supposed for taking stereo stop-u.s.of the lunar flooring.
