Unheard of-puffs are extrasolar planets with masses simplest just a few cases greater than Earth’s, radii greater than Neptune, and in reality low densities.

First came all over by NASA’s Kepler declare telescope, these planets are somewhat rare in our Milky Manner galaxy — fewer than 15 were came all over to this level.

“Kepler-51’s trio retract planetary puffiness to unusual levels,” stated Dr. Zachory Berta-Thompson, an astronomer in the Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences on the College of Colorado, Boulder.

“Their discovery used to be straight-up opposite to what we affirm in undergraduate school rooms.”
